Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account, submitting information, or otherwise using any part of biodaraja.com, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.

Who can use Biodaraja

Biodaraja is built for life sciences students and graduates, and for high school students exploring the field. The High School Track and its submission features are open to minors specifically, but only with a parent or guardian's confirmed consent, as described in the Privacy Policy. If you're a guardian confirming consent on a minor's behalf, you're representing that you have the authority to do so.

Your account

• You're responsible for keeping your login details confidential.

• Information you give us, in your profile, your Application Tracker entries, or an opportunity listing you submit, should be accurate and genuinely yours to share.

• You can delete your account at any time from your dashboard. This is immediate and permanent.

The Skills Gap Test

The Skills Gap Test is a paid service: you upload your CV (and, for the Academia analyst, optionally a statement of purpose), pay through our payment processor, and receive a personalized report by email along with a payment receipt. A few specifics:

• The report is generated automatically from what you upload and whatever target details you provide. It's a structured, well-researched analysis, not professional career, legal, or immigration advice, and it can be wrong or incomplete if your input is.

• If a report fails to generate after successful payment, we consider that our problem, not yours, contact us and we'll make sure you get your report, rather than leaving you to chase a refund.

• Your uploaded documents are used only to generate your own report, see the Privacy Policy for exactly how.

Opportunity listings

Scholarships, jobs, internships, fellowships, and exchange listings on Biodaraja are submitted by third parties (recruiters, program coordinators) or compiled from public announcements, and reviewed before publishing. We do our best to keep them accurate and current (listings are removed automatically once their deadline passes), but we're not the organization running the program, application terms, deadlines, and outcomes are between you and them. Always verify details on the organization's own official page before applying.

The High School Track

Experiment instructions are for educational use at home, with normal care and, where a protocol says so, adult supervision. Biodaraja isn't responsible for how an experiment is carried out outside of following the published instructions. Submissions you send in (photos and answers) may be reviewed by our team, and, only if you or your guardian specifically consented to it, may be shown to other students working on the same experiment.

Acceptable use

Please don't:

• Submit false information, a fake opportunity, or someone else's work as your own.

• Attempt to access another user's account or data.

• Use the site to harass, scam, or mislead other users.

• Interfere with the site's normal operation (scraping at scale, attempting to bypass security controls, and similar).

We may suspend or remove access for anyone who breaches this.

Intellectual property

Biodaraja's own content, guides, branding, and site design belong to Biodaraja. Content you submit (an opportunity listing, a High School Track submission) remains yours, you're granting us permission to display it on the site for its intended purpose. Opportunity listings and any linked documents belong to the organizations that posted them.

No guarantees

Biodaraja is provided as a genuinely useful tool, not a guarantee of any outcome, a scholarship, a job, an admission, or a specific grade on a Skills Gap Test report. We work to keep the site accurate and available, but don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site evolves. Continuing to use Biodaraja after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.
