A nine-month, non-residential virtual leadership program for emerging African women scientists in agricultural sciences, funded by the Andrew Carnegie Foundation and implemented by AWARD. Up to 40 competitively selected women under 35, with at least a bachelor's degree in an agricultural science discipline and five years of sector experience, will build leadership, communication, networking, and gender-integration skills. Applicants must be citizens of Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Nigeria, Senegal, Tanzania, or Zambia and be residing and working in agriculture-related roles in Africa. Participants who attain at least 80% attendance across training sessions receive a certificate of completion.
