ENGAGE Program Tier 1 - Data Science & AI Training for Form Three Girls (2026)

The ENGAGE Program Tier 1 is a fully-funded, 10-day residential training that introduces Form Three high school girls with strong mathematics aptitude to careers in data science, artificial intelligence and machine learning for public health. Approved by the Ministry of Education, it is hosted at six partner universities across Kenya, with transport, meals, accommodation and bedding provided for beneficiaries and one accompanying parent/guardian. Applicants must be Form 3 girls in public schools, and those from underserved or marginalized communities are especially encouraged to apply. Shortlisted candidates sit a math test and short interview at a partner regional university, and those who complete the training receive certificates at a graduation ceremony.
